Reviewing is totally optional but it is your opportunity to be a taste tester for Duluth’s Best Bread! Every DBB Box subscriber gets a survey with the month’s box with questions about each product. By filling out the form you get the chance to influence us for future months!

You can sign up online. Deliveries are the first and second Thursday of each month. (You can switch to the other day for a particular month if you’re going to be out of town). We usually email all box subscribers with a reminder a week or so before “Box Day”.

You have two choices: Pick up or Delivery.
You can pick up  your box at our 2632 W 3rd St. bakery location between noon and 4pm, or for a $5 delivery fee we will bring it to your house or business (must be in the Duluth/Superior area. Many Proctor/Hermantown addresses qualify as well).

No problem. Just email us any time up to four days before delivery and we will pause your subscription. You won’t be charged for that month and the next month your subscription will restart automatically. Remember we do boxes both the first and second Thursday of the month, so you can also email us asking to switch weeks for the month.

If you forget to skip a month, and forget to have someone pick it up for you, we will make good use of it. Sometimes we’ve donated to homeless shelters. This is an indulgence that would otherwise be out of reach for them, and it has brightened many people’s days.

You enter your credit card at time of enrollment, and we’ll automatically charge it that day, then the same day every month. You always pay a month ahead.

You can also prepay for three, six, or twelve month gift subscriptions. And…you get a free box for yourself when you buy a six or twelve month subscription. The perks of being generous!

The exact contents of each box will be a surprise, but we promise they’ll be delicious. On the sweet side, expect items like potica, fruit tarts, macarons, homemade s’mores, and Sweet Michael’s Cookies. Savory items will include things like multigrain bread, smoked gouda and caramelized onion croissants, or smoked salmon gougeres.

You can feel free to keep them. We’re happy to take them back if they’re in good condition–delivery customers can leave them out and our driver will pick them up, and pickup customers can bring them back to either bakery location.
